October 31st...Getting started!

I have been crafting up a storm in preparation for our newest arrival. We don't find
out for a few days yet what we are having and I am on pins and needles....it
sometimes seems that Monday will never arrive! We have reached the halfway
point of 20 weeks, and I still have sooo much to do!! I am hoping to be able to
start decorating the baby's room this weekend, and getting everything in order,
because I know that before long I'm just not gong to have the energy for it!
I have thus far sewn several baby carriers including a wrap, a ring sling (with 3
more awaiting rings), a mei tei, and a narrow podegi. I have also sewn what I am
calling a "Snugglepod", essentially a kick proof swaddler, out of a yummy stretch
velour.

I have also been knitting like crazy, and have made 2 of my own wool soaker
pattern (posted in the files of the Yahoo! Wool Soaker Group), 2
Tiny Bird
shorties
), 2 Aubrey Doodlepants shorties), and am
halfway done with a cabled version (cable and bobbles, to be exact) of the
Sheepytime Sheepy Sack. Most of these projects are pictured here here, with many more planned! Pin It
